We're so thrilled to launch an exciting new collaboration with power house wedding blog Bespoke Bride, where we're sharing some awesome free printable edible icing paper designs, along with a fab tutorial on how to transform a plain iced wedding or celebration cake into something truly beautiful, unique and totally you! I decorated our own shop-bought wedding cake with one of the designs, which I had printed onto edible icing paper by a great online company - I couldn't have been happier with the results, and so wanted to share the project with all the lovely like-minded DIY brides out there... You'll have to hop over to Bespoke Bride to browse and download all the designs, read the tutorial and find out my recommendations for online icing paper print companies, but for now, here's a sneaky preview!

This is such a great project if you're on a tight budget and still want a show-stopping wedding cake, or perhaps you have a willing friend or relative who's offered to make your cake - this is a great way to take them up on the offer, all the while feeling confident the overall style will still suit your theme. You really don't need any baking or cake decorating experience to use our printable designs, which can be printed onto completely safe (and tasty) icing paper sheets. Many professional cake artists are also happy to work with edible icing paper, so don't be put off if you're a little bit wary of putting it together yourself...

All the designs have been created very lovingly (by me) and with a carefully thought out linear pattern, making it super easy to wrap around your cake without any joins or seams showing.

It's literally a case of cutting it out, adding a little icing or edible glue and smoothing it over your cake...

Have a peek at the whole collection of designs over on the fabulous Bespoke Bride blog, which include vintage, contemporary, bohemian, woodland, botanical and nautical themed printables...

We hope you enjoy these freebies for your big day! Let us know how you get on by connecting with us on facebook.... We'd love to hear from you!

Jenny
