When Jessie of Jessie Thomson Weddings & Events asked us to create some personalised stationery for her very own little man's first birthday party, we were delighted to oblige! We instantly fell in love with the black and white grizzly bear theme Jessie had picked, and couldn't wait to get cracking with the invitations and stationery...
We love how this design turned out, with a touch of bohemian and aztec influence adding some extra grrrrr to these grizzly bear party invites!
We paired the bear party invitations with some geometric black and white prints and quirky calligraphy fonts to keep it fun.
We're told these sweet 'Bear Hugs and Birthday Wish' cards (shown above) went down a storm as an alternative to a guest book, with friends and family writing their wishes for baby Augustus on a card which mum can keep back for when he's older.
As we all know, a party wouldn't be complete without a cake - Cue Marie Green whose black and white birthday cake with a cute bear topper complemented the event perfectly!
Nothing makes us happier than hearing from happy customers! Here's what Jessie had to say; "The amazing Hip Hip Hooray created the invitations, wish cards, highchair bunting and welcome sign. It was all so perfect. I had some left over card we used for the envelope liners, so I decided to reuse these as place mats on the tables – so simple, but really made a difference to the tablescape."
